Parents of Players Born 2013 - 2019,

The WPSL Girls Only Soccer Camps are back! The ladies of the summer WPSL team are ready to host your children this summer in a jam-packed camp full of technical skill, soccer IQ, and most of all, fun.

This year, we will be at a new location. The Rowan West Campus will be the new home for the WPSL Girls-Only camps.

As always - No Boys - Just Girls - doing it the Girls Way.

Bring your daughter out to be coached and trained by our all-female coaching staff of D1 - NCAA Collegiate Athletes. A majority of these ladies grew up in SJEB FC, distinguished themselves in the South Jersey soccer landscape, and have gone on to fantastic college careers.

These ladies will be back this summer playing for the club's WPSL team as they look to dominate the Colonial Division of the Mid-Atlantic Conference. As always the proceeds of the camp go to fund our WPSL team.

We’re excited to announce our expansion for the 2026/2027 season with the addition of U8, U9, U10 and U11 Girls teams. This expansion brings high-level SJEB FC girls soccer to Southern Ocean and Atlantic Counties, right here on the east coast of New Jersey. Girls born August 1, 2014 – July 31, 2019 will now have the opportunity to try out for age-specific teams focused on development, confidence, and love for the game.

25/26 SEASON FREE JUNIOR ACADEMY @ 2 LOCATIONS

SJEB FC FREE JUNIOR ACADEMY

We are pleased to offer FREE training for Girls & Boys as an introduction to our club. The 24/25 season Junior Academy is for players born in 2017 (U7) & 2018 (U8).

We have two locations for the 24/25 season, Total Turf Experience/Rowan and Haddon Heights.

During the training sessions players are taught ball mastery skills, turns and 1v1 moves, then put into small sided 1v1, 2v2 games to find their own way to use them on the field. Fewer players in small sided games ensures each player gets more touches on the ball, and has a bigger part of the game. Coaches will follow a curriculum so players are learning new skills each week, in the small sided games there is limited coaching - players are given the opportunity to experiment, try things, and find out what works. No referees, and players keep score (or not), with an emphasis on trying new skills rather than winning. In addition, parents and supporters are asked to stay 50 yards from training to create less of a gallery feel.

The program is affordable and open to any player in South Jersey area, the more players the better the games and training sessions. Please spread the word in your communities, to your friends, family, neighbors, school friends, church groups, etc. Bring along any player who likes to play soccer.

The purpose of our Junior Academy is to expose players to our club and form U8 teams for the first year of 7v7.

2026 SJEB FC Summer Select Program

This is a six week program developed for committed players to experience a high level training and tournament environment during June and July time frame. A supplementary training program during the summer period for increased development!

WHAT:
6 week program (12 training sessions + 2 tournaments).
Tournament Option #1: Liberty Summer Cup - June 27-28 (Downingtown, PA)
Tournament Option #2: EDP Central Jersey Invitational | Steel United Trophy - July 11-12.

* Tournaments are subject to change.

WHERE: Total Turf Experience, 614 Lambs Road; Pitman, NJ.

WHEN: Week of June 9 through July 20.
Dates: June 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25; 29; 30. July 7, 9, 14, 16.
WHO: This program is for NON SJEB FC travel players who are looking for top level team training in the summer & to compete in 2 tournaments.
SJEB FC's full time team's will be staying together through the summer.
We will not be combining SJEB FC and NON SJEB FC players for form teams.

GRADE YEARS: U8 - U14 Boys & Girls.

COST: $460 + Uniform (Adidas Summer Academy Uniform included - 2 shirts, shorts, socks, approx $80)

TRAINING DAYS: Boys | Girls (Tuesday Nights /Thursday Nights 5PM - 9PM)

AGE GROUPS: U8-U14, Teams will be formed based upon gender, age, and ability.

STAFF: We will provide experience SJEB FC staff coaches. We will also be staffing WPSL players as assistant coaches to work with our girls teams.

SJEB FC ANNOUNCE 2026 WPSL & U23 WOMEN'S TEAM TRYOUTS

Our club has a rich history of success in the summer with college-level players, and we expect this coming summer to be no different.

We will have SJEB FC WPSL tryouts and activities only twice this year due to scheduling conflicts. Listed below are dates of tryouts and activities.

If you want to be considered for the summer team, you must make one /but/ preferably both of the dates. Futsal is for you to have fun, be creative, and enjoy playing the game, but we will also evaluate you there as well. The dates are as follows:

SJEB FC EXPAND TKI PARTNERSHIP TO INCLUDE ALL U13-U19 GOALKEEPERS

Girls GA, Girls NAL, Boys ECNL & Boys ECRL

PITMAN, NJ, USA - May 12th, 2025 - SJEB FC are pleased to announce the continuation and expansion of our partnership with The Keeper Institute (TKI). Over the past two seasons TKI has been providing specialist goalkeeper training for our Girls Academy teams. For the 2025/26 season the club has expanded the relationship with TKI to include our Girls NAL, Boys ECNL and Boys ECRL goalkeepers.

The Keeper Institute is owned by former US National team Goal Keeper Jillian Loyden. A native of Vineland, NJ, Jill played professionally for Gotham FC, MagicJack, Chicago Red Stars and St Louis Athletica and had a 4 years career at Villanova University. “The Keeper Institute is thrilled to continue our relationship with SJEB FC to help support the budding talent of goalkeepers in the South Jersey area. The expansion of our partnership to now serve the boys ECNL & ECNL-RL, and girls GA & NAL goalkeepers, is an opportunity we’re so excited for. We are helping to create the best possible learning environment for goalkeepers so that SJEB FC becomes one of the premier goalkeeping hubs around the country.” Said Jill Loyden.

TKI have been providing Goalkeeper training for our Girls Academy teams for the past two seasons. The directors have received positive feed back from the players, so it comes as a natural progression that all SJEB FC U13-U19 goalkeepers receive the same training. "We are very excited to continue and expand our partnership with TKI to further develop and mentor our goalkeepers on the boys and girls side. We feel this will provide a good balance within the club and benefit all parties involved" said Don D'Ambra, SJEB FC Executive Director.

SJEB FC ZONE 1 GOALKEEPER TRAINING

SJEB FC Zone 1 Goalkeepers in the U8-U12 age groups will be coached by RCGC Women's Head Coach Tom Eichhorn . Tom spent 21 years as Goalkeeper coach for Rowan University Womens Soccer program and also had spells coaching the Men's goalkeepers. Our Zone one GK training focuses on buildin g basic skills such as catching, diving, set position, footwork, and positioning. We grow confidence, game understanding and a love for the game. Coach Tom has a National Coaching Diploma and National Goalkeeper Coaching Diploma.

(March 12, 2025) - The ECNL is proud to announce Delaware FC,Philadelphia Ukrainians, PSA Monmouth, and SJEB FC will all be promoted into the ECNL Boys North Atlantic Conference for the 2025-26 season. In 2024, SJEB FC had three teams qualify for the ECNL Boys Regional League Playoffs - East, two of which advanced all the way to the ECNL Boys Regional League Finals. This season, SJEB’s U14s and U18/19s currently lead the South Division of the ECNL Boys Regional League - Northeast, with others right in the thick of a playoff race. With the ECNL Boys North Atlantic on deck, SJEB is ready to finish the season strong and bring that momentum into next season.

Gotham FC Launches ‘Gotham FC Alliance’ to Identify and Develop Youth Talent

HARRISON, NJ (Friday, December 13, 2024) - NJ/NY Gotham FC today announced the launch of Gotham FC Alliance, in which Gotham FC will team up with clubs in the local market and beyond to identify top youth talent and provide development opportunities to create a professional player pathway.

SJEB FC is proud to announce that we have officially joined the “Gotham FC Alliance, a development program created by NJ/NY Gotham FC, 2023 NWSL Champions. The aim is to establish a Professional Player Pathway accessible to all that delivers the next professional players. The Alliance will provide a clear talent identification process as well as competitive opportunities and coaching education.

Through the Alliance, Gotham FC will provide coaching education and development, as well as player identification opportunities to member clubs, with the goal of creating a clear and structured pathway to professional opportunities with Gotham FC and being at the forefront of women’s soccer.

“As we take a step in this new chapter of the women's game, it is important for the club to establish a new approach to collaborating with the clubs who are developing youth players,” said Gotham FC General Manager and Head of Soccer Operations Yael Averbuch West. “In addition to identifying talent, we want to take an active role in supporting youth clubs to help their players flourish and achieve their goals.

The 2025 Generation Adidas Cup will introduce a girls competition.

NEW YORK (Tuesday, December 17, 2024) – MLS NEXT has formed a strategic alliance with the Girls

Academy (GA), a leading youth development platform for female soccer players in the United States, to

work together on technical standards, innovation, membership opportunities, and event integrations to

enhance player development throughout North America.

“Our strategic alliance with the Girls Academy fosters an aligned development pathway for boys and girls

aspiring to reach their highest potential,” said MLS NEXT General Manager Kyle Albrecht. “We believe

this is an important step in growing the sport in North America, as the alignment between both programs

will greatly benefit players, families, and clubs.”

Founded in 2020, the Girls Academy provides elite competition and player development opportunities for

female athletes, featuring 114 clubs and over 16,000 players (including 48 clubs that have a boys team in

MLS NEXT). GA member clubs compete in U13 to U19 age groups split into 11 conferences across the

country. MLS NEXT will integrate select GA clubs into a girls competition at the 2025 Generation adidas

Cup, creating a high-level showcase at the prestigious international tournament.

Rob Nowlan - Hammonton HS & Lehigh University & Dickinson College
Rob was a tough tackling right back, who was a great communicator and leader on the field, because of this he was Team Captain. Rob graduated from Dickinson College with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Biological Sciences. Rob is the Northeast Sales Director at Benefit Bank Distributors, and previously worked for Lincoln Financial Group, True Financial Services and Omnicare. he recently got married.

Kevin Curran - Ocean City HS & Loyola College (MD) & St Joseph University.

Kevin was a cultured lefty who got forward and created chances.

Kevin graduated from Loyola College with a Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist. He then obtained a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy/Therapist at St Joseph University. He is an Occupational Therapist, OTR/L at Atlantic County Special Services School District. Kevin is married and still plays soccer in the CASA league.

Giancarlo Granese - Ocean City HS & La Salle University.

‘Jonny’ was a creative #10 who pulled the strings in the hole. After graduating from LaSalle he returned to Ocean City to help run the family business. Giancarlo is the Managing Director of Shoresiding in Ocean City, he is Married with a child and is heavily involved in soccer as the General Manager of the Ocean City Nor’Easters USL2 team.

Glenroy Chapman - St Augustine Prep & La Salle University.

“Junior” Chapman graduated from La Salle with a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies with minors in history and education. He is heavily involved in the soccer community as a coach at Widener University Men’s Soccer as well as club soccer for Nether United in PA. He is married with two children.

Austin Johnson - Lower Cape May HS & La Salle University & York College of PA

Austin got his Bachelor;s Degree in Marketing at York College of PA. He worked for OneMain Financial, The Bluebook Building and Construction Network, Dodge Construction network and is currently a Senior Partnerships Executive for Niche. Austin is still involved in soccer, running Next Level Soccer small group training and coaches for Cape Express Soccer Club. Austin is married with two young children.

Alex Weidman - Mainland Regional High School & Monmouth University

Alex was a quick, pacey, technical striker. After graduating from Monmouth with a Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness. He got a job as a Physical Education Teacher at Mainland Regional High School, he also coaches their Boy’s Soccer team. Alex recently got married.

Kameron Teel - Gloucester Catholic HS, La Salle University & Immaculate College

A lightning quick, direct winger and goal scorer in his day. Kameron is a now a Teacher, and since leaving college game he took up competitive Judo. Kameron has two children.

Michael Bryan - Shawnee HS & St. Joseph's University

Michael earned a Bachelor of Business Admin in Finance at St Joe’s then earned a Masters of Business Administration at UNC Chapel Hill. He worked for ARI as Director of Client relations; he now works as a Director - Service Transformation at Holman in the Motor Vehicle Manufacturing industry who’s HQ is in Mt Laurel.

Joseph D’Ascenzo - Holy Cross University & Villanova School of Law

Joe got a BA in History and Italian from Holy Cross University and J.D in law from Villanova School of Law. Joe currently works as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas.

Caleb Garza - Ocean City HS & Connecticut College

Caleb studied Mathematics at Connecticut College where he was a nationally ranked Squash player. He is a Business Analyst for LifeWorks. Caleb is married and now lives in Austin, Texas and has just had their first child.

Matthew Schofiet - Shawnee HS, Cornell University & University of Florida.

Matt graduated Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics followed on with a Masters in Education from the University of Florida. He has worked as a Math & Physics teacher in Florida and now as a Science Teacher and Co-Director for the Center for Innovation and Design at the Friends Central School in PA.

Ryan Finley - Rancocas Valley HS, Duke University & Notre Dame University.

Ryan earned a degree in Sociology from Notre Dame. He has recently enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and works for Bessemer Trust Wealth Management organization. Ryan played a couple of Super Y League seasons for SJ Barons, he then attend the US Soccer National Residency soccer program at IMG. He spent 6 years as a pro in the MLS with Columbus Crew & Chivas USA then a two year spell in Sweden.

Blake Fink - Rancocas Valley HS & Lafayette College

Blake played for our Super Y-League team over the summer season. He Graduated from Lafayette College with a BA in Government and Law, then achieved a Doctor of Law (JD) from Temple University School of Law. Blake is an Associate at the Blank of Rome LLP.

Jake McPaul - St Augustine Prep & St Joseph’s University

Jake graduated from St Joseph’s University with a Bachelor of Business Admin in Food Marketing. He has worked as Logistics Manager for Blue Apron, Misfits Market, Small Hold and is now Head of Refrigerated Operations and Product at WARP.

Clayton Harper - Ocean City HS & Rowan University

Clayton graduated from Rowan University with a Criminal Justice degree and has put his studying to good use as he is now a police officer in his home town of Ocean City.

Kevin graduated from Monmouth University with an Education degree and is currently a teacher at Atlantic City High School. Alex and Kevin remain very close friends from their time at Monmouth U and Kevin was Best Man at Alex’s wedding this past summer.

Cory was a wiry winger in his time, and also a brilliant surfer. It was never in doubt that Cory would go on to help run the Family business of Heritage Surf and Sport who have 4 shops in Margate, Ocean City, and Sea Isle City.

Andrew D'Ottavi - Ocean City HS & St Joseph University

Andrew was a tall rangy goalkeeper. He graduated from St Joes with a Food Marketing Degree. He now works for United States Liability Insurance Group as an Underwriter.

Max Mittelman - Mainland Regional HS & UNC Wilmington

Max was a rock solid defender with great fitness. He went onto run Cross Country for UNC Wilmington and Majored in Teaching. He works as a Speech Language Pathologist at Egg Harbor Township High School. Max is married and lives in Ventnor and still works as a lifeguard in the summer.

Kyle Shaw - Washington TWP HS - High Point University

Kyle was a creative midfielder, he attended High Point University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology. Then attended Temple University and earned his podiatric medical degreen and completed his residency at Virtua. Kyle now works as a Resident Physician at Virtua Health. Kyle recently got married and lives in TWP.
