SJEB FC is delighted to announce, we're joining the ECNL Boys platform! This Fall 2023, SJEB FC will become an official member of the Boys ECNL Regional League - North Atlantic.
The ECNL have added several Boys ECNL Regional Leagues for the upcoming 2023-24 season. These new “first team only” leagues will be located in the Far West, Mid America, Midwest, Mountain, North Atlantic, and SoCal regions of the US, and will provide a platform for the best Regional talent.

In a statement from the ECNL, “The ECNL Boys is thrilled to announce the addition of 37 new clubs to the ECNL Boys Regional League, as well as the formation of five new ECNL Regional Leagues across the country for the 2023-24 season. The creation of the ECNL Regional League are part of a multi-year growth strategy to create a robust ECNL national competition pyramid.
Acceptance into the ECNL Regional League for these clubs was based on exceptional performance over the past 18 months in a number of different national leagues around the country. Top performing teams from clubs in the NPL, Elite 64, Elite Academy League, and multiple different USYS National Leagues will be joining the ECNL Regional League Platform moving forward.”
SJEB FC Director and St Joseph’s University Head Men's Soccer Coach, Don D’Ambra, said, “Participating in the Boys ECNL Regional League is a great opportunity for our SJEB FC Boys Academy teams. In recent years, our players and teams have demonstrated their ability to compete at the highest levels. The invitation to join the new ECNL Regional League is recognition of the dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence by our players and coaches.”
The ECNL Regional League is a national-level platform that will present opportunities for our players to compete in the North Atlantic League, compete in renowned tournaments, and increase college recruitment exposure.
SJEB FC Director of Coaching and Rutgers University-Camden Head Men's Coach, Tim Oswald, stated "We are thrilled to be given the opportunity to compete in the ECNL Regional League as it's widely recognized as an elite platform at both the regional and national level. We have fielded highly successful teams over the last 20 years and deserve the chance to showcase our talented players and esteemed coaching staff against some of the nation's best and most respected clubs."

About SJEB FC
SJEB FC was formed in 1998 as South Jersey Barons, as a youth club of the South Jersey Barons USL D3 Pro team. In 2009 they merged with South Jersey Elite founded by Philadelphia Kixx Head Coach Don D’Ambra and became SJEB. Then in 2015 they merged with NJ Rush to become SJEB Rush and rebranded to SJEB FC in 2021.
About the Boys ECNL
The inaugural ECNL Boys season, August 2017 to July 2018, included 57 of the top boys soccer clubs throughout the country, with more than 9,000 players participating in ECNL Boys competition in the U14, U15, U16, U17 and U18/U19 age groups. The first season featured three National Events held in Florida, California and Pennsylvania. The ECNL Boys participated in the Elite National Premier League (ENPL) Post Season, which is run by US Club Soccer, with the ENPL Playoffs held in San Diego, CA (West) and Boston, MA (East) and the Finals held in Colorado. Four out of the five ENPL National Champions were ECNL Boys teams. ECNL Boys run a national Talent ID program.
