SJEB FC SHORE FORMING 7v7 & 9v9 BOYS TEAMS
Mays Landing, April 4th, 2024 – SJEB FC Shore will be forming U8, U9, U10, U11 & U12 Boys for the 2024/25 season. The club is pleased to announce that Stockton University Men’s Soccer Head Coach Greg Ruttler and his staff will be building teams, recruiting players, & coaching our Shore 7v7 & 9v9 teams.
SJEB FC Technical Director John Thompson spent many years coaching players in Atlantic Utd, Ocean City SC, Egg Harbor Twp, Hammonton SC and Mainland Utd soccer clubs in the 00’s. “It’s an honor to have Greg Ruttler and the Stockton University Men’s staff building the SJEB FC Shore Boys program. SJEB FC has a rich history of Shore area players in our club over the past 25 years. Talent like Caleb Garza, Kevin Curran, Giancarlo Granese, Billy Sweatra, Rich Baker & Matt Maher grew up in our program.” Thompson said. “An SJEB FC Shore location means the next generation of talent can develop closer to home” he added.
SJEB FC Shore Director of Coaching Rich Balchan, a native of Carmel, Indiana and former MLS player with the Columbus Crew & Real Salt Lake is excited at the growth of the boys teams at these age groups, “SJEB FC Shore provides quality turf facilities for training, quality grass fields at Tuckahoe Turf Farm for games and professional administration. We have a vision to provide all of South Jersey’s talented soccer players in Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland and Ocean Counties a structured environment and pathway they need to excel at the State, Regional and National level.”

ABOUT SJEB FC
SJEB FC Soccer Club was founded in 1997 as South Jersey Barons, grew in 2009 when they merged with Don D’Ambra’s South Jersey Elite club. Then in 2015 a merger with NJ Rush the club grew to 650 players.
In December of 2022 the club announced the formation of SJEB FC Colonial for players in the Colonial school district and surrounding areas and are forming teams at the U8 - U12 age groups.
SJEB FC Shore was formed in 2023 with 8 girls teams, the addition of the 5 boys teams will take the number of players at SJEB FC Shore to 175 players.
Over the past 25 years SJEB FC has established itself as one of the most respected and premier youth development soccer clubs in the country. Our boys and girls compete, on the regional, national, collegiate, and professional levels, with several players representing youth national teams, the club has placed over 800 players into college soccer programs.
SJEB FC offers competitive soccer options for players ages U8 - U23 from Atlantic County to Burlington County for U8-U23 Boys and Girls in the Girls Academy League (GA) Elite Clubs Regional League (ECNL RL) and Elite Development Program (EDP).
