TOM EICCHORN - USSF C LICENSE

Tom Eichhorn has been a coach with SJEB since 2014. He has had various roles at the club, coaching in the 11v11, 9v9, and 7v7 formats, aiding players in their tactical and technical development. Also amongst his responsibilities at SJEB, Tom has been the Zone 1 Goalkeeping Director helping build our young goalkeepers confidence in the position.


In addition to his time at SJEB, Tom is the Head Coach of Rowan College South Jersey - Gloucester’s Women’s soccer program since the start of 2025. Prior to his time at RCSJ, he was a member of the Rowan University Soccer Coaching Staffs. Tom coached with the Women’s Soccer program from 2004 to 2024. During his time as a part of that staff, the program went 280-71-3, won 4 NJAC Championships and made 17 NCAA appearances. The program has been a Top 25 ranked program during much of that time, reaching a peak of 4th in the Nation at one point. Tom aided in the development of numerous Conference Players of the Year, All-Region, and All-American players. Tom also coached with the Rowan University Men’s program from 2004 to 2014. While on staff, he mentored numerous All-Conference performers, 3 NJAC Players of the Year and an All-American with the program amassing 113 wins and a national ranking as high as 7th. 


On the club level, Tom served as the head coach for the Delaware Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program for the U16/17 girls' team in 2012 and worked for Keepers Advantage out of North Jersey, guiding young goalkeepers in their development in a club neutral environment. Tom's coaching certifications include a National Coaching Diploma and National Goalkeeping Diploma from United Soccer Coaches as well as a D License from US Soccer.


Tom also enjoyed success as a player. He competed at Dumont High School in Bergen County, becoming All-State, and later played at Rowan University, where he saw action as goalkeeper from 1999-2003. During that time, he helped lead the Profs to two NJAC Tournament Championships, four NJAC Regular Season Championships and four appearances in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament, including the National Championship game in 2000.
