SJEB FC is pleased to announce Christos Economopoulos as the newly appointed Technical Director for SJEB FC Colonial. Christos is a dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivated soccer professional, boasts over 18 years of experience in player development, team management, and club advancement to achieve their strategic objectives.

 

Christos joined SJEB FC in 2020, following a six-year tenure at Ocean City Nor’ Easters, where he served as assistant coach and director of operations. His coaching career commenced in 2007 at Knocknacarra FC in Galway, Ireland, concurrently with his employment with The Football Association of Ireland (FAI).

 

He earned a National Certificate in Exercise and Fitness from the University of Limerick, Ireland, and has since acquired additional professional qualifications in Sports Therapy and Science. Furthermore, Christos holds coaching badges from UEFA, the FAI, and US Soccer C License.

 

With dual Greek and Irish heritage, Christos exemplifies the growing potential within SJEB FC and signifies the increasing professionalism within the club. His expertise ensures that players and teams receive exemplary care, guidance, and knowledge to elevate their performance.

 

"This is an exciting project, and I look forward to observing the growth of players and teams within the Academy, developing them both personally and athletically. Our goal is to cultivate future stars for the Club and to foster alumni who will serve as future ambassadors for SJEB FC," stated Christos.

 

Christos has coached the following SJEB teams into the NJ number 1 rankings and the top 10 in the nation.
