Ian has been with the SJEB FC since the club was founded in 1996 and was a player on the first SJEB FC Boys team, along side former SJEB FC coach Joe Banks and Brian Lloyd.

after his playing career concluded he joined the club as a coach and has been with them ever since. Ian was a standout player at Winslow Township HS and played at both Rider University and Rutgers Camden University in college.


Ian graduated from Rutgers in 2007 with a degree in English and Education and began a career as a high school English teacher in SJ.


In 2009 he was on staff at West Deptford HS for their SJ Group 2 championship. He then moved to Williamstown HS and coached with the varsity team for 10 years. In that time he helped lead Williamstown to 5 Tri County Royal championships and an appearance in the SJ Coaches Cup Final (2016).


During his time with SJEB FC Ian has coached top level boys and girls teams. In 2018 he guided the 2001 SJEB FC Boys to a u17 US National Championship, a first for the club.


He continues to coach in the ECNL and ECRL programs at SJEB FC.


Ian currently holds his USSF B License and works as an English teacher at GCIT in Sewell. Ian lives with his family in Barrington, NJ.
