Neil Mullin has been a member of SJEB FC since 2009, where he has made significant contributions at all levels of the club. His first team was the 93/94 age group. He progressed to influential roles such as the Girls Junior Academy Director, U23 Head Coach and most recently the head coach of the U-19 boys’ team. Under his leadership, 25 out of 37 players have successfully transitioned to highly regarded programs, spanning from Junior College to Division II.
Before his tenure at SJEB FC, Coach Mullin was an accomplished player in the Rowan University Men’s Soccer program from 1994-1997, where he was a three-year starter and captain. As an assistant coach from 1999-2003, he propelled the Profs to a remarkable 95-19-4 record and led them to an appearance in the Division III final. His contributions encompassed recruitment, scouting, and focused instruction with the defensive unit and goalkeepers.
In addition to his role at SJEB FC, Coach Mullin has served as the Head Boys Coach at Beck Middle School since 2005, where he has led his teams to multiple undefeated seasons and league championships. He holds a bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science from Rowan University and has taught Health and Physical Education at Mullica Hill Friends School from 2000 to 2004, followed by a continuing role within the Cherry Hill Public School system from 2005 to present-day. Outside of coaching, Neil leads an active family life with his wife, Kelly, and their three sons, two of whom are excelling in college soccer programs in the tri-state area.
Coach Mullin’s robust expertise and unwavering passion for the game are instrumental in shaping the lives of young athletes on and off the field. Neil holds a USSF C License.
